Bernardi dough mixer in comparison
Bernardi dough mixers - the right ones for the home
Bernardi Impastrici is the leader when it comes to professional and semi-professional dough mixers. Ambitious hobby chefs as well as bakeries appreciate the quality of the kneading machines from Bernardi.
Three models are available for use at home: the My Miss Baker for the family, the Miss Baker Pro and Miss Baker Pro XL for quantities of 4 - 8kg of dough.
Here is an overview:
- Bernardi My Miss Baker: 0.5 - 1.8kg flour i.e. 0.8 - 3kg dough in a 10l tub at 250 watts.
- Bernardi Miss Baker Pro: 0.5 - 1.8kg flour i.e. 0.8 - 4kg dough in a 10l vat at 500 watts.
- Bernardi Miss Baker Pro XL: 1 - 3.5kg flour, i.e. 1.5 - 8kg dough in a 20l vat at 500 watt.
All three machines can knead flour quantities from 500g. They are suitable for yeast doughs, shortcrust doughs, bread doughs, even sourdoughs and focaccia. The My Miss Baker has a 250 watt motor and a kneading stage. While the Miss Baker models have a 500 watt motor and five kneading levels. In principle, both machines can knead the same doughs, the My Miss Baker with one kneading stage just needs a little more time in case of doubt, the kneading result remains identical. However, since the machines are absolutely silent, it doesn't matter if it takes a little longer to knead. The Miss Baker has five speed levels, whereby Bernardi recommends using mainly kneading levels 1-3 for common doughs and using kneading levels 4 and 5 rather sparingly so as not to overknead the doughs.
