Does a stone oven always have to be made of stone?
We say no. A stone oven can be called a stone oven if its cooking surface is made of high-quality, food-grade fireclay stone. How is a stone oven heated?
A stone oven can be heated with wood, gas, and also electrically. The classic stone oven is fired directly with wood. It is also possible to install a gas burner. These two options are offered by the manufacturers Valoriani and Fontana for their private and gastronomy models.
