Proper cooking in wood oven
The pizza oven for home is selected and is now set up in the garden or on the terrace. Your wood-burning oven not only looks beautiful, but should now be properly heated and used. The recipe collection is probably overflowing and in your head you have even more ideas, what you can cook and bake with the oven all delicious and whom they want to invite.

Of course, it is important to heat the oven properly. Read our instructions for this. But when everything is ready and the first preparations in the kitchen are underway, the question of the right temperature for the respective dishes arises. A few principles will help in any case:
- If the dish is to be crispy and juicy and has many fresh ingredients, the temperature can be higher to preserve the fresh ingredients.
- If you want to cook or bake dishes with many ingredients, such as cakes, desserts or pasta dishes, the temperature should be lower.
- Meat is best cooked at lower temperatures so that it can already braise and become tender.
- Breads or rolls are baked in the second cycle. That is, if the oven was really hot before for pizza, for example, let it cool down to a little over 200 degrees, sweep out the ash residue, put the bread in and close the oven. After two hours, your wood-fired bread should be ready.

The Valoriani Baby is made of dome materials from the professional sector, i.e. with a high proportion of fireclay. The floor is also made of 100% full fireclay. This is food-safe and suitable for cooking and baking food. The dome is insulated with special ceramic fibre and powder-coated with the best metal and painted, so these ovens can be used outdoors all year round in wind and weather even without a cover. The front arch is also decoupled from the dome to compensate for thermal stresses. The substructures are galvanised and painted, which ensures the highest possible durability with additional sealing.
