More than a pizza oven
Ratgeber Fontana, Pizzaofen
Bakehouses have a long tradition. From the 14th century to the 1960s, they were the central gathering place of village life. People met at set times to bake their bread. The Italian manufacturer Fontana Forni continues this tradition and offers bakehouses for private households.
Today, they're set up outdoors on the terrace, balcony, or in the outdoor kitchen. They are mobile and can be easily moved from one place to another. Depending on their size, they even offer space for a suckling pig, sheet cake, or simply pizza and bread. The Fontana bakehouses are modern all-rounders; in terms of their uses, they resemble a classic electric oven in the kitchen but are something truly special.
They are operated outdoors. Whether as a stand-alone solution or in an outdoor kitchen makes no difference. The indirect wood firing allows precise temperature control, and an optional convection system, as well as lighting, optimize cooking and baking results. For example, it is possible to slow-cook large portions of meat or bake a crispy tarte flambée. On three levels, you can simultaneously prepare antipasti and lasagna. The bakehouses are fueled with wood indirectly and allow you to bake and cook on three levels. Thus, multiple dishes can be prepared at the same time.
