Bernardi Dough Kneader - The Right One for Home
Bernardi Impastrici is a leader when it comes to professional and semi-professional dough kneaders. Ambitious hobby chefs and bakeries appreciate the quality of kneading machines from Bernardi. For use at home, three models are available: The My Miss Baker for the family, the Miss Baker Pro, and Miss Baker Pro XL for quantities of 4 - 8kg dough.
Here is an Overview:
Bernardi My Miss Baker: 0.5 – 1.8kg flour, which is 0.8 – 3kg dough in the 10l bowl at 250 watts
Bernardi Miss Baker Pro: 0.5 – 1.8kg flour, which is 0.8 – 4kg dough in the 10l bowl at 500 watts
Bernardi Miss Baker Pro XL: 1 – 3.5kg flour, which is 1.5 – 8kg dough in the 20l bowl at 500 watts
All three machines can knead flour quantities from 500g. They are suitable for yeast doughs, shortcrust pastry, bread doughs, also suitable for sourdough and focaccia. The My Miss Baker features a 250-watt motor and one kneading level. The Miss Baker models, on the other hand, have a 500-watt motor and five kneading levels. In principle, both machines can knead the same doughs, the My Miss Baker with one kneading level just needs a bit more time in case of doubt, but the kneading result remains identical. Since the machines are absolutely quiet, it doesn't matter if they knead a bit longer. The Miss Baker has five speed levels, with Bernardi recommending mainly using kneading levels 1-3 for common doughs, and using kneading levels 4 and 5 sparingly to avoid over-kneading the doughs.
