Cooking temperatures in the wood-burning oven
It doesn't really matter whether you use wood or gas, the important thing is that you know at which temperatures which dishes will succeed. If you have time and muse, you can use the full energy of your oven. From 450 degrees to 0 degrees, any temperature can conjure up a delicious dish. We have created a diagram for you.
Pizza in the evening, yeast plait in the morning
Your wood or gas oven is an all-rounder. From meat and fish to vegetables, cakes, bread and dried fruit, you can use it to conjure up anything you like to eat. The only thing that matters is the right temperature and the timing to get it right. You need to know your oven well and how much temperature you lose per hour. A Valoriani Baby, for example, only loses 10 degrees per hour on a warm summer night. So if you've baked a pizza in the evening, you'll easily still have enough temperature the next morning for rolls or a yeast plait for breakfast.
Feasts from the outdoor kitchen
If you know your oven well, you'll know exactly which dishes work well in it, which roasters and pans work well in it and how long your roulades need, for example. When to put the vegetables in and how long your chocolate sufflée needs. Once you've tried all this out over the course of the year, you'll be able to prepare and cook your entire Christmas feast in your oven and have more time for your guests because the oven will do a lot of the work for you and do it for you in peace. Our blog offers you some recipes that can also be prepared in your outdoor oven, wood-burning oven or gas oven. Feel free to send us your ideas.
