Pizzaoven with gas
Fast and efficient: Cupola ovens with gas burner
There are many arguments in favour of a pizza oven with gas burner: fast heating, automatic heat regulation, few pollutants in the exhaust air and first-class baking results. The right temperature is crucial for the pizza or bread, not how it is reached. A gas oven made of high-quality materials, such as the stone ovens and cupola or dome ovens of the traditional Italian companies Fontana and Valoriani, is in no way inferior to a wood-burning oven. Due to the first-class fireclay bricks, the stone ovens reach high temperatures and last for hours. Both the pizza, which needs a hot base, and the bread, which loves constant warmth in the second baking cycle, are optimally supplied here.
Depending on which gas burner the customer chooses to operate the dome oven or stone baking oven, the heat can even be controlled automatically. The cook does not have to worry about replenishing the logs, but can concentrate fully on cooking and baking in the stone oven. The firing process is also facilitated and shortened. The flames of the gas burner are lit at the push of a button and burn continuously, which shortens the time required for firing in the dome oven. And to ensure that the temperature does not fluctuate, the Spitfire gas burner can be programmed, making gas operation economical. As a result, a gas-powered stone oven or dome oven emits fewer pollutants. Which makes it an environmentally conscious alternative.
A gas burner can be installed in almost any stone baking oven or dome oven. A good example is the Valoriani Baby pizza oven: it is a good size for private use, but can be used in the catering sector thanks to its high-quality workmanship and first-class materials. With wood fire it radiates Italian cosiness, with gas operation it becomes a high-performance stone oven. In this way, many wood-burning ovens can be converted to gas operation and thus become stone ovens or dome ovens of the next generation: environmentally friendly, efficient and flexible.
